This project arises from the need to bring a new mode of transportation to the population. Drones will arrive to cities to takle problems such as traffic congestion and greenhouse gas emissions. In the next 3-5 years, people will be able to travel between cities, to the airport or even to neighboring regions in a more effective, faster and more direct way. The technology has been studied for more than a decade and the first successful results are already beginning to be obtained .However, to ensure the success of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) it is necessary to provide cities with the necessary infrastructure, called vertiport, so that aircraft can land and take off from areas surrounded by buildings in a safe way.
