The production of composite materials has been a widely used technique throughout history. The combination of two or more materials provides properties that cannot be obtained separately in the original materials. In this regard, the use of textile waste as a reinforcement in this type of compound is being investigated in recent years. Thus, it is possible to recover a residue by passing from a linear model to a circular economy model. The result is a sustainable material that combats the degradation of the planet caused, to a large extent, by the big generation of waste.
