ANALISA FAKTOR KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS TERHADAP PENGENDARA SEPEDA MOTOR DI JL. SLAMET SUPRIADI KOTA MALANG

The number of motorcycle accidents in Malang City, Jl. Slamet Supriadi is one of the roads with the highest number of accidents. Based on traffic accident data recorded by the Malang City police office, during 2018 - 2020, there were 71 traffic accident victims, 7 died, 10 seriously injured, and 54 lightly injured. This study aims to determine the average instantaneous speed of a motorcycle, the largest percentage of the effect of an accident (time of occurrence, type of collision, gender, month, day, and age of the motorcycle rider), the location of the Black Spot, and efforts to prevent traffic accidents. Data were collected through observation and documentation, and analyzed using the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN), Upper Control Limit (BKA), and Upper Control Limit (UCL) methods. The results of this study are: (1) The average instantaneous speed of a motorcycle on Jl. Slamet Supriadi Malang from North – South of 54.22 km/hour and from South – North of 54.78 km/hour, with an average instantaneous speed of 54.50 km/hour in both directions; (2) The largest percentage of the effects of accidents: (a) 57.78% incident time occurred at light time (06.00 – 18.00); (b) Type of collision 26.67% with type of rear collision; (c) Gender 64.79% of the male gender. Month 15.56% that is in June; (d) 20% day i.e. on Thursday; (e) Age 36.62% ie aged 18-25; (3) location of Black Spot STA 1+200 – 1+300; (4) Prevention efforts: Repairing road markings, repairing road asphalt, adding traffic signs, and vehicle feasibility. This study concluded that motorcyclists have exceeded the maximum speed limit, with most accidents occurring between 06.00 WIB - 18.00 WIB, Rear End Type, Male, June, Thursday, Ages 18-25, Spotted Black. In order to reduce the traffic accident rate of motorcyclists, it is necessary to improve road markings, repair asphalt roads, increase traffic signs, and improve vehicle feasibility
