PENGARUH KEYAKINAN NORMATIF TERHADAP PERILAKU KOMUNIKASI SEKSUAL ORANG TUA-REMAJA DENGAN DIMEDIASI OLEH NIAT

Adolescence is a period of searching for sexual identity where in the search for that identity the role of parent-adolescent sexual communication is very important to provide sexual information. Behavioral theory integrated behavior model explains that a person's behavior is influenced by perceived norm mediated by intentions. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of perceived norm directly or indirectly throughintentions on parent-adolescent sexual communication. This study uses a quantitative method with a non-random sampling technique, namely purposive sampling with a total of 315 subjects. The instruments used are; parent-adolescent sexual communication scale, perceived norm scale, and intention scale. The results showed that there was an indirect effect of perceived norm on parent-adolescent sexual communication mediated by intention with a estimate value of 0.007and p = 0.009 (p < 0.05). It is expected that parents believe that sexual communication behavior is important in order to establish sexual communication with adolescents
