PERENCANAAN ULANG SALURAN DRAINASE PADA RUAS JALAN BENDUNGAN SUTAMI KECAMATAN LOWOKWARU

The intensity of the rain that occurred in the city of Malang caused pool and flooding on the highway, especially on the Sutami Dam road section. The overflow of water into the road causes pool. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the existing drainage network system to compare it with the design of the new drainage system. Monthly rainfall data, topographical data, inlet channels, existing canals are needed in conducting the analysis in this study, these data can be obtained from various agencies such as BMKG, BPS, and Public Works of Malang City. To begin with, hydrological analysis and hydraulic analysis are carried out. Hydrological analysis used Thiessen Polygon Method, Log Person III, Chi-Square Fit Test, Smirnov Kolmogorov, Mononobe, and Rational. Then hydraulic analysis using the Manning method. From the calculation results it was found that the Sutami drainage channel 1 has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 0.5 x 0.7 m has a storage capacity of 0.195 m3/sec, then for the Sutami drainage channel 2 with a rectangular shape with dimensions of 1.0 x 1.75 m has a storage capacity of 1.604 m3/s. Due to the existing Sutami 1 channel of 0.195 m3/s 0.862 m3/s, the channel meets the requirements. So it is necessary to redesign the channel on the Sutami channel 1. Taking into account the shape of the channel and the existing land, we use a rectangular channel with dimensions of 1.0 x 1.5 m with a capacity of 1,342 m3/sec
