STRATEGI DIPLOMASI KOREA SELATAN DI BIDANG PARIWISATA MELALUI DRAMA KOREA (STUDI KASUS: HALLYU TOURISM OLEH KTO (KOREA TOURISM ORGANIZATION))

This study discusses South Korea’s diplomatic strategy in tourism through Halyu Tourism by KTO. This research uses the concept of Public Diplomacy which was explained by Mark Leonard in which there are 4 purposes in public diplomacy, namely familiarity, appreciation, engaging people, and influencing. To support this concept, the author also uses the concept of Development Tourism. The research method used in qualitative research. The data used in this study were collected from journals, books, and news related to the discussion in this study, namely tourism, Korean drama, and KTO. This study shows the results that KTO is successful in bringing Korean drama as a South Korean tourism development strategy
