Respon Uni Eropa Terhadap Kasus Perdagangan Manusia Pasca Pecahnya Konflik Internal Suriah

This research is a descriptive study with qualitative data analysis methods. Secondary data collection techniques by conducting studies of previous research literature which were then processed into material in conducting research. These data were data sourced from books, theses and theses from various universities in Indonesia and international universities, working papers, conference proceedings, press releases, reports, and articles from the official website of the European Union and other related institutions such as the United Nations, the Ministry of Overseas from various countries, DPR-RI, GREETA, UNCHR and many more. In describing and analyzing the European Union's efforts to address human trafficking cases in its region after the outbreak of the Syrian internal conflict in 2011 to 2019, the author used the concept of international organizations put forward by Clive Archer in looking at the roles and functions carried out by the European Union. The results of the study showed that the European Union carries out its roles and functions by making rules regarding human trafficking such as Directive 2011/36/EU Anti-trafficking directive, Directive 2012/29/EU Victim's Rights Directive, and EU Strategy on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings. The European Union then implements it by working with various parties such as the European Asylum Support Office, the European Police Support Office, EU-LISA and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency.
