The negotiation process for 12 rounds explains if there are problems that occur in the IA-CEPA negotiation process. The dynamics that often occur between Indonesia and Australia raises the formulation of the problem "How are the factors that caused Indonesia to stop the IA-CEPA negotiations in 2013-2016" through a qualitative descriptive research method, this study uses the concepts of national security and sovereignty in answering the formulation of the problem in this study. Based on the results of the analysis of the available data, there are results if the ia-fast negotiations are stopped due to the interests of various factors. They are political factors, international law factors, economic factors, and national integration factors
