PENGEMBANGAN SOAL HOTS PADA MATERI KPK DAN FPB KELAS 4 SDN SUMBERSARI 2 MALANG

Based on the results of the needs analysis in grade 4 at SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang, the lack of teachers providing HOTS-type practice questions to students, and the lack of books or worksheets containing HOTS-type questions. So it cannot hone students' reasoning skills. The emergence of such problems, students need practice in working on HOTS-type questions in order to grow students' skills in critical thinking, creatively in solving a problem, thus requiring practice in the form of HOTS questions. This study aims to develop HOTS questions in fourth grade elementary school mathematics, with the hope that these HOTS test questions can help teachers determine students' higher-order thinking skills and provide new variations of mathematics learning evaluation questions. This research was conducted with the subject of 4th grade students, totaling 16 students of SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang. This study uses the O'Malley and Pierce method which has 8 stages, namely, building team members, determining goals, compiling product specifications, carrying out professional development, collecting assessment samples, expert validation, testing and revision. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the developed HOTS questions are valid and practical, this can be proven in the results of the material expert validation obtaining a percentage of 94.6% in the very feasible and valid category, the evaluation expert validation obtaining a percentage of 83.8% with a very feasible category and valid, while the validation of the teacher's response obtained a percentage of 89.8% with a very feasible and valid category and the results of student responses after using this media obtained a percentage of 85.5% with a very practical category to use, this is evidenced by the results of students' scores getting an average 86. So that the developed HOTS questions can be declared very valid and practically feasible to use. Suggestions for further research are to be able to develop HOTS questions using the latest version and vary according to the times
