PENGARUH APLIKASI BIO SLURRY LIMBAH BIOGAS SAPI PERAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS SORGUM (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench)

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) is a potential food commodity as an alternative to wheat and rice because it is still a relative to wheat and rice, so the characteristics of the flour are relatively better than tuber flour. To increase the productivity of sorghum plants, recommendations for optimal fertilization are needed so that it can increase the productivity of sorghum. Nitrogen is one of the essential nutrients needed by plants because it plays a role in plant growth and development. Bio Slurry as an organic fertilizer has a high content of nitrogen and organic matter due to the completely closed fermentation process. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the application of bio slurry fertilizer on the growth and yield of several varieties of sorghum. This research was conducted in the experimental field of the Agrotechnology Department, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, starting from March 2022 to June 2022. The materials used included solid bio slurry fertilizer, liquid bio slurry fertilizer, urea fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer, KCl fertilizer, sorghum cultivars Numbu, sorghum cultivars Super-1 and sorghum cultivars Suri 3 Agritan. The method used in this study is the cultivation method according to the recommendations with 2 control treatments and statistical analysis of factorial randomized block design followed by the Tukey HSD further test. The results showed that the application of bioslurry fertilizer had an effect on the brix value of several sorghum cultivars. Solid bio slurry fertilizer showed the best average response to the growth and yield of several cultivars of sorghum. The sorghum Super-1 cultivar showed the best average response to the growth and yield of sorghum plants compared to several cultivars selected as research subjects
