Background: Gallbladder polyps are common incidental findings during abdominal ultrasonography. Cholecystectomy is recommended for polyps equal or greater than 10 mm on ultrasound due to their malignant potential. However, the majority of lesions appear to be pseudopolyps with no malignant potential.
