Thirty-four ovarian and breast cancer patients received autologous peripheral blood progenitor cell transplantation after high-dose myeloablative chemotherapy and either granulocyte-colony -stimulating factor (G-CSF) or granulocyte/macrophage-colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) in the immediate posttransplant period.
