For some decades now, in Cameroon as in many African countries, a serious decline in educational standards is being observed. The blame is generally laid on television and ICTs, as parents complain that their children spend their time watching documentaries, films or other TV programmes. In recent times, this has been compounded with whatsApp and android phones that even primary school pupils manipulate. But all of this is just part of the complex problem of children’s education in Cameroon.
