International audienceIn this paper we present an energy management approach for an isolated PV-battery hybrid system. The studied system is composed of a lifepo4 battery pack coupled to a BMS, a PV module and an inverter controlled with a load management device. We aim to provide sufficient energy to different loads and decrease the energy deficit and the loss of power supply probability (LPSP) factor. The simulation results were performed with Matlab/Simulink to evaluate the performance of the proposed management algorithm on the PV-Battery hybrid system. A comparative study between the system without and with the management system shows a 40% reduction of the system energy deficit. Furthermore, the LPSP factor was minimized to 4%
