In recent years, there has been a substantial increase in female entrepreneurship all over the world. Unfortunately, despite efforts made by the implementation of various training programs and the distribution of cash grants, females in developing countries are continuing to face struggles in maintaining their enterprises. Through the synthesis of preexisting research, this thesis evaluates the relationship between culture and the major factors that are impacting how women in countries that are commonly characterized by low economic output and a lower Human Development Index set their businesses into motion and attempt to sustain them
