This paper concerns the modeling of a natural gas steam reformer intended for hydrogen production in a fuel cell power systems. The system issues are discussed and a steam reformer model is described. The reformer model will be included in a previously developed library to be used as a tool for the simulation of hybrid energy systems. The paper describes also an analysis of steady state and dynamical operation of a PEM-Reformer system, performed through the simulation tool
