The collection consists of a booklet titled, The Correspondence between the Commissioners of the State of South Carolina to the Government at Washington and the President of the United States: together with the statement of Messrs. Miles and Keitt. This booklet includes the correspondence between the government of the seceded state of South Carolina, James Buchanan, President of the United States and other government entities.
