The idea of this research was initially triggered by the difficulties on understanding English idioms in learning the language. To understand the idiom, one cannot guess the meaning by extracting each word in the idioms. Translation can be used as a bridge forreaders to understand idioms. The study was entitled The Translation of Phraseological and Proverbial Idioms of Rich Dad Poor Dad. (Translation Analysis from English into Bahasa Indonesia). The book was written by Robert T.
