The purpose of this research project is to build an educational spacecraft platform to enable anyone with an internet connection to be able to test their own spacecraft control algorithms on hardware in real time; students can upload their control algorithms to a website (EasyControls.org) and watch the spacecraft rotate in real-time through a live stream. These platforms will consist of three reaction wheels within a cube mounted to a gimbal system which will allow for all three degrees of freedom; this setup is designed to simulate a spacecraft in orbit. So far, the team has selected the electronics to be implemented and designed the hardware for the initial platform. Once the first platform is fully assembled, the team will transition it...
