Today, people spend 90\% or more of their lives indoors. It is therefore imperative that their health and well-being is considered a priority in architectural design. Daylight, its availability and spectral characteristics have recently taken a more prominent role in design. Today, daylight design is trans-disciplinary and must not only consider energy performance, visual task and comfort but also matters of health and well-being.
