Deep understanding of Motives, Expectations and Preparedness of students has been very important, especially when educators are trying to find ways to build educational environment which can enhance academic performance. This paper examines Motives, Expectations and Preparedness of students whose majors are Accounting and Auditing at College of Economics, Hue University. The data are collected by using the MEPU questionnaire which was developed by Byrne and Flood (2005). The finding shows that the learning process of students is reinforced by the combination of intrinsic motivations, extrinsic motivations and high expectations but the preparedness is not good.
