Bullying can be defined as the relationship of intentional violence between peers that is maintained and repeated due to the victims’ inability to defend themselves and react to the attacks. When this occurs at school, we are talking about children and young people, often students of the same age who attend the same classes. Researchers from diverse areas of study have focused on what justifies such a relationship and what can be short – and long – term effects to understand the phenomenon and find prevention and intervention strategies.
