In dieser Dissertation untersuche ich Verflechtungen und Wechselwirkungen von Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft am Beispiel der Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). Inspiriert von den Entwicklungen bei IPBES versuche ich, eine politische Wissenschaftsphilosophie zu entwickeln, die in der Lage ist, das Auftreten von Konflikten sowohl als unvermeidliches als auch als potenziell konstruktives Element in Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft einzubeziehen.
