The purpose of this study is to present the chimeric scapula tip-free flap as a reconstructive choice in composite head and neck defects and to highlight the experiences of the authors in this field.A retrospective study and a literature review were conducted. Data about preoperative condition, intraoperative images, and radiological and clinical documentation were collected.Excision of head and neck advanced cancers may result in large composite defects containing different types of soft tissue and bone. This topic is particularly challenging in salvage surgery after radiation therapy.
