Simple Summary Pineal region tumors are rare intracranial tumors. A deeper knowledge of these tumors' molecular mechanisms has been gained in recent years, which has led to a new classification and new potential systemic treatments. Surgery remains the mainstay of treatment, while radiotherapy and systemic therapy depend on histological, molecular, and clinical characteristics. This paper highlights recent developments in the diagnosis and treatment of these tumors.
