The acute toxicity assay with premetamorphic tadpoles of Bufo arenarum as sentinel organism was applied to evaluate the quality of two water samples taken from three sites of theReconquista River, an urban watercourse which is recipient ofboth untreated industrial effluents and domestic wastes.
