Arterial hypertension and the risk of severity and mortality of COVID-19

We have read with great interest the recently published study from Guan et al. entitled "Comorbidity and its impact on 1590 patients with Covid-19 in China: A Nationwide Analysis". To the best of our knowledge this is the first large scale study that focuses on independent clinical risk factors associated with a composite outcome (death, use of ventilator or ICU requirement), using a Cox regression model.Facultad de Ciencias Médica
