Nitrogen (N) fertilization and fungicides are important tools in order to achieve high yields and quality in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), although its use may affect the expression of foliar diseases such as leaf rust (LR) (Puccinia triticina Eriks.). An approach focused on the impact of LR and its interaction with fungicides mixtures and N fertilization rates could be useful to improve the modelling of crop N dynamics and enhance grain yield and quality in the context of the integrated management.
