STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AL-ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK AKHLAK SISWA MELALUI GOOGLE MEET DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 TAMAN SIDOARJO

Law Number 20 Article 3 of 2003 concerning the National Education System in developing students’ abilities and noble character motivates the researcher to conduct this study. A strategy is needed to develop students’ moral. Besides, it is important to use a message-processing strategy to support the success of learning. The problems found at Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Taman in moral development during online learning were the teacher’s lack of experience in using learning media, students’ slow response, and poor network connection. This study focuses on (1) How do al-Islam teachers implement strategies in developing students’ morals through Google Meet at Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Sidoarjo? and (2) What are the inhibiting factors in developing students' morals through Google Meet at Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Sidoarjo? This qualitative study used a case study design. Data were collected from interviews, documentation, and observation (both online and offline) using the help of other media by complying with health protocol and avoiding disturbing the learning process. Data were analyzed in some stages, namely (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) verification /conclusions. The results showed that (1) The moral development through al-Islam learning at Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Taman was started by designing lesson plans. After designing the lesson plan, the teacher carried out the learning. The implementation of learning covered three strategies, namely opening, core activity, and closing. In implementing the strategy, the teacher of al-Islam uses a message-processing strategy. These strategies are divided into two, expository and heuristic strategies. (2) Inhibiting factors in the development of students’ morals through Google Meet at Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Sidoarjo were the teachers, students, and network
