The architectural flexibility of steel structure dominates over other conventional structures, but fire and its associative load are one of the major accidental loads, which could be fatal in steel structures. Load bearing capacity of steel structural componentsdrastically reduces in the fire condition. In this paper, the performance of steel structural components under accidental fire loadsis investigated.
