The article explores how mass media can play a role in bringingawareness about the rights of disabled people in Bangladesh. In thelight of models for studying mass media representation of rights ofthe disabled and related policies, the study attempts to unfold theinterrelationship between mass media, society and persons withdisabilities. It proposes a participatory conceptual model for therights and policies of disabled people in Bangladesh
