THE EFFECT OF USING SNOWBALL THROWING GAMES ON STUDENTS’ WRITING SKILL AT MTS BUSTANUL HUDA KABUPATEN TEBO

The research method used is experiment with pre-test and post-test desain. the study population was eight grade students totaling 40 students, the sampling technique was cluster random sampling with amounts to 40 students. The material in this study is writing descriptive text wich last for 4 meetings. The writer used ttest to calculate the data and to test the hypothesis. The result of the calculation from this research is to ≥ ttable, it means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The iterpretation of data is the use of game snowball throwing game is more effective in teaching writing descriptive text than not used game snowball throwing game. Finally, based on the finding of the research, the writer gave some suggestion. She hopes this research will be useful for improving of education in indonesia
