Disability has a substantial impact on a person's Quality of Life (QoL). Rehabilitation, a process where measures are taken to improve the QoL of people with disabilities, uses a variety of techniques. Community-based rehabilitation (CBR) is one such technique. It was developed in response to the region's serious QoL as well as its poor accessibility to and availability of rehabilitation services.
