Back pain contributing factors in lower limb prosthesis users: a systematic review of the literature

Pētnieciskais jautājums: Vai psihosociālie faktori ir muguras sāpju veicinošie faktori apakšējo ekstremitāšu protēžu lietotājiem? Rezultāti: tika atlasīti un analizēti divi pētījumi, kuros salīdzināti psihosociālie faktori, muguras sāpju intensitāte un sāpju traucējumi. Pētījumi tika atlasīti, izmantojot PRISMA Flow diagrammu. Pēc Joanna Briggs Institute critical appraisal checklist for Analytical cross sectional studies skalas tika novērtēta pētījumu metodoloģiskā kvalitāte. Secinājumi: Bakalaura darba mērķis ir sasniegts. Nav izteiktas sakarības starp psihosociāliem faktoriem personām ar muguras sāpēm un bez muguras sāpēm, bet tie var ietekmēt muguras sāpju intensitāti. Muguras sāpes ietekmē dažādi psihosociālie faktori un atbilstoši tiem ir nepieciešams pielāgot rehabilitācijas pasākumus cilvēkiem ar apakšējas ekstremitātes amputāciju. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no divām tabulām, diviem attēliem un trīs pielikumiem. Apjoms ir 31 lappuse ar pielikumiem un 27 bez pielikumiem. Purpose of the work: To select, compile and analyze scientific literature on psychosocial factors contributing to low back pain, which are assessed by PROMIS (Patient-reported outcomes measurement information system) assessment tool, in lower limb prosthesis users. Research question: Are psychosocial factors contributing to back pain in users of lower limb prostheses? Results: Two studies comparing psychosocial factors, low back pain intensity and pain interference were selected and analysed. The studies were selected using the PRISMA Flow diagram. The methodological quality of the studies was assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute critical appraisal checklist for analytical cross sectional studies. Conclusions: The aim of the Bachelor thesis has been achieved. There is no strong correlation between psychosocial factors in persons with and without low back pain, but they may influence the intensity of low back pain. Back pain is influenced by different psychosocial factors and rehabilitation measures for lower limb amputees need to be adapted accordingly. Work contains two tables, two figures and three appendix.
