On the conception of the dream in lulua traditional environment This article, in a spirit of constructive criticism, resumes a theme already dealt with in "Ethnopsychology" . According to the conception of the Luluwas, a tribe of the Luba ethnic group in Zaire, the dream is a communication between man and the souls of the dead, divine beings or other men. This interpretation therefore supposes an analysis of the signification of human society and of the universe as well as of the nature of the mind and its functioning. After showing that the dream is a communication between the minds of human beings and describing its categories, the writer raises the question of its symbolism and gives a key to dreams through the presentation of some cases.L'article reprend, dans un esprit de critique constructive, un thème déjà abordé dans "Ethnopsychologie". Selon la conception des Luluwa, tribu du groupe ethnique Luba (Zaïre), le rêve est une communication entre l'homme et les âmes des morts, des êtres divins ou d'autres hommes. Son interprétation engage donc la signification de l'homme, de la société et de l'univers, ainsi que la nature du psychisme et de son fonctionnement. Après avoir montré dans le rêve une communication des psychismes des êtres vivants et décrit ses catégories, l'auteur évoque la question du symbolisme et donne la clé des songes à travers la lecture de quelques cas.Biaya Tshikala Kayembe.
