During the last three decades in France the volume and the spatial distribution of working classes have deeply changed. While most of them were formerly living near factories, in and around industrial cities, a lot of them have left public housing and moved to suburbs and countryside where they have been able to become owners of their houses. More scattered, this working class is also more and more composite.
