Mr. Holland attended Duke Law School with Richard Nixon. He recalled that their first year class began with 50 students with only 26 graduating. Mr. Holland shared the heavy emphasis on studying with little time for socializing. He shared that Nixon was not outgoing and could be perceived as always being serious but the longer you got to know him, the better you liked him
