Introdução: A cárie dentária é uma doença infeciosa que resulta na destruição do esmalte e da dentina. O Fluoreto de Diamina de Prata (SDF) é uma opção de tratamento não restauradora para parar lesões de cárie. Objetivo: Determinar a eficácia do SDF como tratamento não invasivo para parar as lesões de cárie e, em segundo lugar, avaliar o mecanismo de ação do SDF, indicações, contraindicações, seguridade, vantagens e desvantagens.
