International audienceBackground: The perception of diagnosis announcement, the social support and the coping strategies seem to be determining factors for the quality of life of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, with possible transcultural variations. This study explores these psychosocial dimensions in Lebanese and French MS patients.Methods: For this cross-sectional multi-center study, 8 questionnaires were used to assess quality of life, family support, coping strategies, mood, fatigue, stress, and hopelessness in MS patients. 7 were translated into Arabic and then back translated into French.
