Not AvailableHandloom weaving has an overwhelming presence in the socio-economic life of Assam since time immemorial. Producing diverse products apart from traditional stuff with combination of various tribal and non-tribal designs with mixing colours, weavers of Assam specially the cotton weavers can produce attractive products which not only catch the eye of domestic customer but also the tourists from the globe. Digitization of weaving motifs through CAD is also a boost to this traditional craft.
