ESTADO, CIÊNCIA E TECNOLOGIA NO BRASIL: UMA ANÁLISE RETROSPECTIVA

Beginning in the fifties, there has been in Brazil a series of institutionalstrategies aimed at creating a research structure in this country. This articlerecounts the principal moments in which explicit state action reflects the necessityof integrating science and tecnology to the socio-economic dynamic.Multinational corporations, local capital and the State appear as structuringagents of the capacity for endogenous scientific and technological production,motivating an ensemble of actors who incorporate the interests of thoseagents.Les années cinquante ont vu le début d'une série de stratégies institutionellespour la creation d'une structure de recherche au Brésil.
