Professores de educação física e inclusão: ainda há caminhos para percorrer

This article aims to outline the profile of Physical Education teachers working in the context of inclusive education, as well as to know their opinion about the inclusion of students with disabilities in regular education and check whether regular schools have physical accessibility to receive students. Methodologically, the research is quantitative, with a descriptive, cross-sectional objective, carried out with the participation of 28 teachers working in regular public schools in the city of Teresina-PI. The data reveal that 67.9% of the surveyed teachers have experience with disabled students and 71.4% have participated in professionalizing courses to help their pedagogical and teaching practice. However, it was noticed that 67.9% of the teachers reveal that the facilities of the public schools in which they work are not adapted to receive students with disabilities. In a worrisome way, 71.4% of the educators highlight the scarcity and lack of material to ensure a safer and more inclusive work with disabled students. The research allowed us to reflect that inclusive Physical Education still faces and experiences numerous problems, especially in the performance of teachers, highlighting the insufficiency of knowledge to meet the educational needs of disabled students. On the other hand, it reveals that these professionals see as positive and important the inclusion of students in regular schools, especially for learning and respect for differences. In this way, we can highlight that school and inclusive Physical Education still experiences many lemmas and dilemmas in this beginning of the 21st century regarding the pedagogical and inclusive treatment with disabled students.Este artigo visa traçar o perfil dos professores de Educação Física atuantes no contexto da Educação inclusiva, bem como conhecer a opinião deles sobre a inclusão de alunos com deficiência no ensino regular e verificar se as escolas regulares apresentam acessibilidade física para receber os alunos. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa é de abordagem quantitativa, com objetivo descritivo, do tipo transversal, realizada com a participação de 28 professores atuantes em escolas públicas regulares na cidade de Teresina-PI. Os dados revelam que 67,9% dos pesquisados possuem experiência com alunos deficientes e 71,4% participaram de cursos profissionalizantes para auxiliar a sua prática pedagógica e docente. Entretanto, percebeu-se que 67,9% dos professores revelam que as instalações das escolas públicas no qual atuam não são adaptadas para receber os alunos com deficiências. De modo preocupante, 71,4% dos educadores destacam sobre a escassez e falta de material para garantir um trabalho mais seguro e inclusivo com os alunos deficientes. A pesquisa nos permitiu refletir que a Educação Física inclusiva ainda enfrenta e vivencia inúmeros problemas, em especial, na atuação dos professores, destacando a insuficiência de conhecimento para suprir as necessidades educacionais dos alunos deficientes. Por outro lado, revela que esses profissionais veem como positivo e importante a inclusão dos alunos nas escolas regulares, principalmente para o aprendizado e o respeito às diferenças. Desse modo, podemos destacar que a Educação Física escolar e inclusiva ainda vivencia muitos lemas e dilemas nesse início de século XXI no que tange o trato pedagógico e inclusivo com os alunos deficientes
