The objective of the study was to find an appropriate method to elaborate a silaje from coffee pulp of optimal quality for feeding ruminants, determining the nutritional and organoleptic quality of the silaje at 60 days as an alternative of environmental mitigation to the negative impact caused by the enormous quantities of coffee pulp produced worldwide. In the first phase of the study, the humidity of the fresh pulp (82.1%) was determined, after draining for 14 hours and pressure, low humidity was achieved up to 77.1% humidity with which the silage was made, 60 days later.
