Comprehensive evaluation of modern agricultural development level in contiguous destitute area of Luliang Mountain, Shanxi Province

The evaluation model was established by combining AHP with multi-objective linear weighted function method to comprehensively evaluate the development level of modern agriculture in Luliang mountain, Shanxi Province. The results show that: (1) Overall, the degree of agricultural modernization in contiguous poverty-stricken areas is low and in the initial stage of development, and the degree of modernization of agricultural production conditions, agricultural production results and farmers' living standardsdecrease sequentially; At the municipal level, the agricultural modernization degree of the three cities is not high, xinzhou, Linfen and Luliang; At the county level, the degree of agricultural modernization varies greatly, and xinzhou county is located in the starting stage is advanced sub-stage, and the counties of Luliang city are located in the low-level sub-stage. The degree of agricultural modernization at county level was lower in the middle and higher in the north and south. (2) agricultural the contribution of production conditions, production results and farmers' living standards to modern agriculture were 16.4%, 29.7% and 53.9%, respectively. Agricultural electrification and mechanization level is low, production conditions are backward. It is the bottleneck of modern agricultural development. The backward agricultural production conditions lead to the low efficiency of production results, the low disposable income of farmers, and the low living standard of farmers, which result in the late development of modern agriculture in this area slow root
