In this article I analyze the categorization, normalization and recognition processes of three crop varieties: the Jack tomato, the Purple Tomato of Aretxabaleta, and the no-name tomato or home-tomato. Understanding seeds as naturecultures, I aim to better understand how these varieties are produced and act as such, to then further study the processes that create them and what they do.
