Profil Pemahaman Konsep Pada Mater Suhu Dan Kalor Kelas VII Siswa SMP Negeri 4 Ngawi Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022

This study intends to determine the understanding of the concepts of junior high school students regarding the physics of temperature and heat in seventh grade students of junior high school. This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Ngawi. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. Descriptive research in question is to describe how students understand the concept of temperature and heat. This study consists of 10 two-tier multiple choice questions which are divided into 5 indicators, namely 1) interpreting, 2) exemplifying, 3) concluding, 4) comparing, 5) explaining. The results of the study show that indicators 1) interpret have a percentage of 79% of students understand high concepts, 2) give examples to have a percentage of 64% of students understand high concepts, 3) conclude that they have a percentage of 61% of students understand high concepts, 4) compare have a percentage of 59 % of students understand low concepts, 5) explain has a percentage of 44% of students understand low concept
