This study intends to determine the understanding of the concepts of junior high school students regarding the physics of temperature and heat in seventh grade students of junior high school. This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Ngawi. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. Descriptive research in question is to describe how students understand the concept of temperature and heat. This study consists of 10 two-tier multiple choice questions which are divided into 5 indicators, namely 1) interpreting, 2) exemplifying, 3) concluding, 4) comparing, 5) explaining.
