It is well known that the effect of dynamical friction of field stars on massive objects is enhanced in triaxial galaxies because of the presence of a type of orbits (""box"" orbits) which densely sample the inner high density regions. We present the generalization of our previous study of the role of dynamical friction on globular cluster orbits to a set of 5 self-consistent triaxial galactic models characterized by different axial ratios. We find that the orbital decay times are in many cases much shorter than the age of the galaxies confirming the hypothesis that many GCs have had enough time to reach the galactic centre where they have been likely contributed to mass feeding of a compact nucleus therein.
