In view of the drastic change in the needs and wants of the population, Italian suburbs must be re-thought. Indeed, buildings constructed during the post war period (after the Second World War) were mainly responding to the basic need of granting the population a safe house; the aesthetic features of edifices and of urban space actually contribute to enhance both their value and the individual’s satisfaction.
