This text analyzed articles, dissertations, and theses, to investigate publications on “science teaching as the emergence of an epistemology”. The objective was to investigate the scientific productions published in Periodicals Capes, BDTD, Scielo and Google Scholar that encompass the theme "epistemology in science teaching", allowing to conduct a systematic analysis on the main studies carried out on the subject, in the period of ten years (2009/2019), as well as investigating the main considerations and possibilities from this context.
