This study addresses the issue of the choice of young people to be a teacher and the factors that influence this choice. In particular, aspects associated with the experiences during high school. Therefore, the study takes references from other works analyzing these elections and reveals elements that can help to understand this phenomenon. From these studies, we study factors interfering with the choice of young people for a specific Physics degree course in the southern region of Brazil, investigating the nature of these young people's choices.
